Approximately thirty years ago, Dr. Mabel Jones Matthews profoundly entered my life through three divine whispers. In August 1996, during a Sunday worship service, God spoke to the pastor, Dr. Matthews, and me, initiating a transformative journey. After the service, where I preached on “People You Will Meet in Life’s Darkest Hour,” Dr. Matthews, then the Dean of Academic Affairs at a local college, invited me to teach a religious studies class. Guided by the Holy Spirit, I eagerly accepted and committed to a 26-year tenure at the college, impacting countless students through Biblical teachings and Christian mentoring. These three whispers underscored the importance of obeying God’s guidance. For believers and non-believers alike, Hearing God’s Whispers: Testimonies of Hope, Healing, Obedience, and Spiritual Clarity inspires all to pause, listen, and respond to the gentle urgings of their hearts, recognizing them as “God’s Whispers.”
